DIY:Tea Inspired Jewelry Orgainzer

Hey there! I'm back at it again with another quick and simple diy! This"Tea Party" cafeish inspired jewelry organizer is a great way to make a slight change to your room for spring. I personally like the vintage feel to this set and although I like my room to be particular, it's the little touches like this that make it interesting once in a while. This ended up costing me $10 because I picked up some extra supplies just for it, but you probably have many of these materials lying around, and don't be afraid to reuse any similar objects!

Materials needed:

1. paint
2. wooden shapes
3. wooden knobs
4. paint brush
5. scissors
6. pencil
7. hotglue
8. twine

 How it's made
this whole process is pretty self explanatory ^.^ but I'll explain anyways
1st you want to paint your wood with a rough bristled brush for a more worn out texture
2nd paint the outside however you please, I used a metallic mocha color
3rd let the paint dry before tracing a design and your lettering
4th paint the letters etc.
5th place the knobs how you want, paint them then glue them on
6th glue some string on the back to hang it

(I thought about possibly hanging these connected to each other from largest to smallest; if you want to save wall space)

Aren't they really cute? Also try this with any colors you want and if you want it to appear more vintage just be imperfect about painting it and maybe even sand some of the paint down once done ~^.^~

WIG REVIEW: K'ryssma Silver Ombre Wig

I'm soo happy to be reviewing my first wig purchase for my blog for you guys today. So as soon as I got home I waited and ripped the box open and started snapping pictures of this beauty!

I ordered this K'ryssma Ombre Gray/ Silver wig from amazon. It came lightening fast, in about four days it was here (it included prime shipping). it cost around $33 and you can purchase it here.

I was like wooh my god when I first saw it because I didn't realize it was a whooping 22 inches lol!!
But it is a layered wig with some wavyness for added volume which I find to be awesome in that sense, although that makes it a bit harder to detangle and easier too tangle in the first place. In this case though, I'm accepting of having the extra volume because it's very pretty with it.

Next up, I didn't mention that this wig is a lace front with a side part. Let me just say that at first I put it on with the part smack dab in the middle and was like "hold on that's not what it looked like in the picture haha" I did eventually figure it out though as you will see later.

I admit this is my first lace front wig so I dived into cutting this with caution, I wouldn't even take advice from myself when it comes to this, but I'm positive that there are plenty of tutorials to guide you with it.

And afterwards voila, although I will be sure to cut it down more later so no worries.
Alright before I shower you with more pictures of it, the meat and potatoes must be served. For the texture.. it is a synthetic wig but it doesn't feel extremely plasticy and cheap. I'd say you could wear this everyday, which is what it is meant for but yah know sometimes you end up with a cosplay back up instead of what you intended. I can run my fingers through it up until the layering comes in and that is probably because of the slight volume and wave at the ends. Its not human hair soft by any means either, its about what you'd expect. With it being a synthetic wig you might expect super shine and sheen but don't be alarmed. This wig is silver but not at all cheap and shiny. I did get some shedding, although it wasn't like I was getting your "couch full of dog hair" clumped up in my hands. It was minimal, I figured it would happened with an affordable price tag and I believe it mostly came from the back because they probably got lazy lol. When I first opened it, it had that factory smell, but it thankfully didn't linger whew. It is heat resistant but I'm personally not gonna risk it anytime soon.
Hopefully this covers it all, I overall had a good first impression of it and it being my first lace front, it wasn't bad and the price was good for the quality. I will definitely be purchasing from K'ryssma again in the future because they have alot of pretty wigs of lots of assortments and I was happy with this one!
